Curious Terrariums...

I have been working on these for a while now (those who follow me will have heard me saying how I wanted to spend some time on some more detailed, arty projects since uni has now finished.  I was just waiting on the copyright certificates to arrive and I am now ready to share these with you.

Introducing Curious Terrariums...

These are vintage jars with real, miniature, scenes inside them.  These little creatures are a creation of mine called Merrow (which is the Irish term for mermaid; bit of my heritage there).  They are tiny plush sea folk and come complete with their own habitats.  Inside the jars is a 'beach' made from real sand, along with dried seaweed and varying pebbles, shells and washed up glass.  Each of these will be completely different as the beautiful thing about Mother Nature is that she never makes the same thing twice.  A twine embellishment and vintage, brown tag complete the look you have come to expect from me.
